What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on? What do you need help in, specifically?
I feel that this course should focus specifically on making us more prepared for the life were gonna have as students in university. I think this class should help us better our work habits and time management skills for the future tasks we will have to do. We should be focusing on specific classes that people usually struggle in or have trouble in and we should be analyzing why this is happening and how we can overcome these classes and try to be successful in them. I myself don't understand why we are reading about fast food and doing projects on it and I think the career outlook project is meaningless and reminds me of my guidance and careers class in highschool. I have to pay alot more money for school than most students here and I feel like im paying for a highschool class and learning what i already know. We shouldn't have to do this project as it is irrevelent and most of the students who actually prepared themselves and thought about their future actually know what were doing with their lives. I don't really need specific help in anything but i would like the class to focus on some speech and hearing info as all we talk about is radiology, and i would like to know how to study and take notes for my psychology class even though the tutoring is really helping me.

We are reading FFN because you will all be working in the Health fields and need to know what you are up against for disease, treatments, etc.. Why Americans are getting sick, basically - even Speech & Language Hearing - there is a reason some people are born with "defects." I would've loved to get a speaker for SLH come to class but he couldn't schedule with me (?).

Thriving in College is a great resource for note-taking and study tips. If you are reading it, you should get something out of it although yes, we need more of it for sure!
Time Mgmt - hopefully you made a calendar for your entire semester and posted it in your room somewhere. That's one of the best assignments (and most useful).
Not everyone knows what they want to do in this block and part of UN100 is focusing on careers. The project should be that much easier for you then, since you already know.
